Kevin and Ellie reached out to me about shooting their wedding after seeing some of my past work online. This was a pleasant surprise since Kevin and I attended the same high school but we never got a chance to talk much. However, I did remember that he was such a positive and fun guy among our peers, so I was excited to talk to him about his upcoming wedding!

I suggested that we do an engagement shoot before the wedding so that they would have photos to use for things such as save-the-dates, invitations, social media posts, etc. So in mid-October, I took them to one of my favorite photo locations, Cooper Mountain Nature Park in Beaverton.

Living in Oregon, you never know what the weather is going to be like during fall months, but we were blessed with nothing but sun and dry skies this day! Besides the obvious love they had for each other, the sun glowing among the golden field made these pictures extra romantic.
