You’ve just said “yes” to marrying the love of your life – congratulations! I’m here to be your dedicated storyteller, photographing your love in a way that encapsulates who you are as a couple.
When planning your engagement session, I customize the details to match your aesthetic and preferences. If you’re an adventurous couple, let’s head to the river or mountains. More of a city duo? We can make our way downtown and get those fun street vibes, or rent a studio to play with an editorial look. If you’re looking for something extra dreamy and romantic, I have some favorite golden fields that are absolutely stunning during golden hour!

The Process
Next, we’ll discuss the preferred location for your engagement photos (indoor studio or outdoors) and what kind of style you’re going for in your photos. If you’re unsure about the location, no worries! I can provide lots of great recommendations for photoshoot spots - feel free to ask!

When you first inquire with me, we'll talk about the vibe or aesthetic you’re wanting for your engagement photos. The more details you can give me, the better I can make your vision come to life!
First steps
If it feels like a good fit and you want to work together, then I will gather all the details and send you a photography contract to sign. A 50% deposit is then required to officially book your date, with the remaining 50% due 7 days before your engagement session.
CONTRACT & RETAINER
You can expect to receive a link to your online gallery in 3 weeks where you can view, download, and share your high-resolution engagement photos!
It’s the day of your engagement session! We will meet at the agreed-upon location and start shooting those beautiful engagement photos. During the session, I'll give some fun prompts to get you relaxed and moving - you’ll feel at ease in front of the camera in no time! If you have specific poses or ideas in mind, feel free to share them - I'm open and flexible to your preferences! Most of all, I want you and your partner to enjoy your time together during the session, no matter what!

Yes, I love to adventure and will happily travel to wherever you want to take your engagement photos! :) Typically, anything 3 hours outside of the Portland, OR area will incur a small travel fee. I will do the work of calculating the travel costs for you and including it in your final price so you don’t have to worry about any new fees later on.
Anything that makes you and your partner feel comfortable and confident! While neutrals and solid colors usually work well in photos, the choice is entirely up to you. For a more cohesive look, I recommend either sticking to the same color family, or both partners wearing light, neutral colors. If you're unsure about your outfit choices while we plan your session, don't hesitate to ask me for guidance.
I get it, life happens! If you need to reschedule your session, get in touch with me right away and I'll let you know my availability and when we could possibly reschedule. If you would like to cancel your session altogether, please remember that your 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Living in Oregon, we all know about the unexpected weather! We can always reschedule your engagement session if you’d like, but sometimes light rain (as long as it’s not downpouring) can make for amazing photos! We can always decide on this together when your session date gets closer!
